The Nollywood industry remains silence since I picked Funke Akindele – Jando exerts worry

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Lagos governorship candidate, Abdul Azeez Adediran AKA Jandor has spoken concerning the worrisome silence of the Nollywood industry since he picked Funke Akindele as his running mate.

Reactions trolled after Nollywood actor, now politician, Funke Akindele was announced as the running mate to PDP Governorship candidate of Lagos, Jandor.

The silence of the Nollywood industry which housed Funke Akindele’s career for years had gotten the governorship candidate worried as he recites the reason he chose the actress.

During an interview with Arise TV, Jandor, however, noted that he did not choose the movie character; Jenifa or Sulia, but he chose Funke Akindele because as an entrepreneur, Funke could see to the success of her political ambition as a Deputy to him.

Jandor also raised concerns over how the ruling party, APC gave its ticket to the actor, Desmond Elliot, yet they are criticizing his decision for choosing Funke Akindele.

He, however, stressed that he is more worried about the conspiracy of silence in the industry, which could have fought for one of their own.
