Tanzanian Singer, Diamond Platnumz Arrested For Sharing Indecent Photos

Popular Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz is in trouble with authorities for publishing “indecent” photographs on social media.

The 28-year-old singer was arrested after posting shirtless images of him in bed with a female companion circulated online.

Tanzania’s Information Minister, Harrison Mwakyembe, who confirmed the arrest, said the Singer was arrested for “posting uncouth content and spreading indecency on social media.”

Mwakyembe said, “I inform you that yesterday we were able to arrest the great musician Diamond Platnumz, he is being questioned by the police about the indecent photos he circulated.

“Social media is not a garbage dump of sorts. Our country has a culture.

“There are some stars who keep posting uncouth content on social media and I’m proud to say yesterday we arrested Diamond Platnumz.”
