Lionel Messi’s father, Jorge Messi has disclosed he would prefer the return of his son to Barcelona someday.
The Barcelona hero shocked the football world by completing a move to PSG last August.
Since then, so many excuses have been made over the Argentine’s off-form performance.
His father has now made his position known saying, “I hope it [happens], some day,” when asked by Twitch channel Jijantes FC, about the prospect of his son playing for Barcelona before his career is over.
At Barca, the 34-year old scored 672 goals in 777 appearances.
Recall that Messi’s former team-mate Dani Alves also called for the playmaker to ‘return home’ to Barcelona last month.
Unfortunately, PSG reportedly plan to keep the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner for another year.
Messi has scored just six Ligue 1 goals in the current campaign. However, his form recently rose as he scored a brace against Montpellier on Saturday, May 14.
He also has 13 assists to his name in League 1 in the ongoing season.
