‘The interesting Man United’ could very much serve as a befitting title for Manchester United this summer transfer window.

It’s been a transfer window that hasn’t gone the way the club’s fans expect it to go, particularly how they’ve spent months anticipating a rebuild under new manager, Erik Ten Haag.

Just about every player the club has been linked to in this window, has a bit of drama to it.

And  it’s even  worth noting that the player very often as indicated no interest in leaving current club despite Man United’s interest.

It’s quite interesting for neutrals though devastating for Man United fans, after it was confirmed that striker target, Darwin Nunez will be moving to arch rivals, Liverpool, despite attempts to sway the Uruguayan to Old Trafford.

And now, it’s being reported that the club has jumped straight into the race for another striker after missing out on Nunez.

But the catch in the report is that the club is also in the running for the striker with another Premier League club, Crystal Palace.

Malcolm Ebiowei who plays for Derby County is the player according to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano that is being targeted by Manchester United and Crystal Palace.

With the Old Trafford club having had more outs than ins, as the likes of Paul Pogba, Edison Cavani, have been confirmed exits, the club looks to be in a tight race against time.

As the transfer window keeps getting interesting, Manchester United will hope to land its first signing of the summer with less drama this time around.
