“So much vile and envy here” — Uche Ogbodo
In the midst of a heated online debate regarding the acceptability of a man without a child marrying a baby mama, Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has shed light on what she perceives as the underlying darkness in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The discussion was sparked following the engagement announcement of BBNaija star Queen Atang, prompting various Nollywood figures to engage in a public argument over the topic.
Taking to Instagram to express her thoughts, Uche Ogbodo pointed out that the entertainment industry harbors individuals characterized by malice, envy, and malevolence, which, she believes, contributes to its darkness.
She urged her colleagues to adopt a mindset of happiness for others’ successes, emphasizing that such positivity can attract blessings to oneself.
In her post, she wrote,
“Tufiakwa! This entertainment industry is so Dark cos people in it are so vile, envious, and evil. Happy for somebody so that good things can come to you too nah! Congratulate the person and then pray for your own grace.”
Uche Ogbodo stressed the importance of self-improvement and genuine well-wishing towards others, highlighting that merely wishing for the success of others without putting in the effort to better oneself is futile.
