Six persons escaped death as two vehicles plunge into valley, somersault several times in Anambra

Six persons escaped death on Sunday when two vehicles plunged into a shallow valley and somersaulted several times in Awka, the Anambra state capital.

The accident which involved a Toyota Tacoma SUV with registration number SMK 36 FL, and Toyota Camry, with registration number ENU 430 MW heading towards Onitsha, happened near Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC Command Office in Awka on Sunday, December 13.

According to an eyewitness, the accident was caused by careless overtaking, adding that no death was recorded.

The injured survivors were taken to Princeton Hospital, Ngozika Housing Estate, Awka where they are currently receiving medical attention.
