Queen sends birthday wishes to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son Archie

The Queen of England has wished Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie a happy birthday as he turned one today.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, who is the Queen’s eighth great-grandchild, turned one today, and the Royal family shared a picture taken when the Queen met Archie at Windsor Castle after his birth.

The caption said: ‘Happy Birthday to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor who is celebrating his first birthday today! Archie is The Queen’s eighth great-grandchild.’

Royals including The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Charles and Camilla also shared birthday wishes to Archie on Instagram.

A royal expert said Harry and Meghan plan to treat Archie to an ‘organic, sugar-free cake’, a splash around in their pool, and a video call with the Cambridge children as part of his birthday celebrations, while under lockdown in the US.

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6, 2019, at 5.26am, weighing 7lb 3oz.

I love to read, write and TRAVEL!!! The media space is my canvas to paint the truths of our brands and the stories of our Nigerian culture. I love a good book any day because with them I can travel to spaces that are perfect in their frame.
