Heavily pregnant American singer, Rihanna has reacted after being honoured at the just concluded Met Gala 2022.

Even with her absence, the Multiple award-winning singer, Rihanna stole the spotlight as she was honored with a statue made for her at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The singer who is expecting her first child with lover, and rapper A$AP Rocky took, in an appreciation post, took to the microblogging platform, Twitter to express excitement describing the development as a historic tribute.

Being amazed about shutting down the Metropolitan Museum in marble, she stated that there’s nothing compared to such an event.

She wrote: shut down the met in marble! what’s more gilded than that? Lol! Thank you @metmuseum and @voguemagazine for this historic tribute! y’all bad for this one!
