PHOTOS: Liverpool players turn up for pre-season

The Euros may still be on, but Liverpool head coach, Arne Slot is moving his chess piece into formation as he begins his new era at the club with the 2024/25 pre-season.

With the club still having a bunch of stars who did not take part in any international tournament or exited their respective international tournaments at an early stage, the Merseyside club begins preparation for the full season. Though the club’s main stars are yet to take part in training duties, Arne Slot will have some talents to use in his first weeks as the club’s head training.

Joining the ranks for the pre-season training are the Greek Scouser; Kostas Tsimikas, England youth star, Curtis Jones, and a lot of academy players whose faces were made famous in Jurgen Klopp’s last season at the club such as the likes of Conor Bradley and Jarrell Quansah.

Arne Slot will also have the presence of players returning from last season’s loan moves, like Nathaniel Philips, Fabio Carvalho, Sepp van der Berg to guide his way into his first set of pre-season games.

Though the absence of some first team players such as Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai will be felt, they are soon to join in once their holiday breaks from the internationals comes to an end.
