Otedola gifts viral quadruplet parents N5 million, offers scholarships to children

Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, through his foundation (FOF), decided to bless the family of Sodiq Olayode, who recently welcomed quadruplets with N5 million.

This act of kindness is coming after many Nigerians gathered together to raise over N19 million in donations for the family of Sodiq Olayode.

The Olayode family’s journey captured the hearts of many after a colleague, Oyeniran James, shared their struggles on social media.

James identified as @jamysax on X formerly Twitter, shared that the quadruplets used 105 diapers in just six days, a revelation that sparked widespread compassion and led to a flood of donations.

Renowned for its charity activities, the Femi Otedola Foundation paid the Olayode family N5 million on Monday.

Philip Akinola handed over the check on behalf of the foundation. Femi Otedola has also promised two of the Olayode children scholarships for their university study.

James took to X (Twitter) to share the news, he wrote:

“Guyssssssssssssssssss, Guess what ???? ‘#realFemiOtedola sent representatives to offer a cheque of N5 million to the parents of the quadruplets and also offered scholarships for the education of two of their kids till University. I’m in tears, guys.’”

This generous donation follows a contribution of N2 million from Airtel Nigeria.
