"If Nigeria had laws, no one will be talking about Naira Marley" -- Ruth Kadiri

Moral of the story; “May Nigeria not happen to anyone,” — Ruth Kadiri.

Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has hit out at the trending interview between Naira Marley and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri as the controversy surrounding the death of Nigerian musician, Mohbad lingers on.

The leader of the Marlian music crew, Naira Marley in a tell-all interview, revealed a video conversation he last had with Mohbad, disclosing the artiste’s suicidal thoughts prior to his death as Marley maintained his innocence.

The singer noted he was already out of the country before the deceased died, alleging that both were on good terms before the incident, contradicting the media narratives surrounding his involvement in Mohbad’s demise.

Naira Marley also went further to guarantee his return to the country to defend his stance if the Police could assure his safety.

In an Instagram post reacting to the trending video, Ruth Kadiri hit out at Naira Marley and Reno Omokri, criticizing the interview as a luxury granted them as a result of the lawlessness of the country.

In jest of the interview, Kadiri hoped cases like this would not happen to any more Nigerian.

She wrote on her page,

“By their fruits, you shall know them! If Nigeria had laws would we even be on social media discussing who is right and who is wrong?

“Trying to get justice from the core of our existence??? Like I always say! May Nigeria not happen to you!. Rest well Mohbad.”
