Nnamdi Kanu: Intimidation Tactics Has To Stop—Brother Reacts

Following reports of sporadic firing in the residence of the secessionist, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, there was fear on Saturday in the Isiama Afaraukwu neighborhood of Umuahia, Abia State.

The younger brother to Nnamdi Kanu, Kanunta Kanu confirmed the event in a post on his own Twitter account, accusing the Nigerian Police officers of breaking into his father’s home.

The tweet reads:

“this intimidation by @NigerianPolice in my family home got to stop. Don’t remind us of 14:09:2017. Stay away from my family I warn”.

According to reports, a police unit invaded the palace of Kanu’s father and began firing randomly.

A witness who only went by the name Michael told Vanguard from what we gathered that the police officers who arrived in a Hilux did so from the gate of the local police commissioner.
