Nigerians Lament As Naira Scarcity Continues Across States

Many citizens and residents of the country, Nigeria have cried out over the continuous scarcity across different States in the nation.

Exerting their anger and displeasure, her residents have taken to social media to drop their expression.

The naira scarcity comes approximately 12 months after Nigerians went through the same ordeal in 2022, before the commencement of the general election.
TopNaija understands that owing to the redesigning of the Naira note policy implemented by the CBN between December 2022 and February 2023, a cash shortage surfaced until the Supreme Court extended the deadline to December 31, 2023.

However, this extension was later revoked at the federal government’s request.

As we are few days away from the festive day, Christmas, Nigerians are once more going through the hurdle of the Naira notes shortage.

Recall that many Automated Teller Machines of Deposit Money Banks in many parts of the country are either not dispensing cash or are witnessing long queues.
This issue has sparked a national uproar from Nigerians, who have decried the situation while also calling for the federal government to intervene immediately.
