Naira Marley warns Marlians in new message

Popular Nigerian artist, Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley has issued a warning to his followers known as ‘Marlians’.

Earlier today, the term ‘Marlian’ has become a movement as youths, children even adults on the streets now parade themselves as Marlians.

The anthem on the streets these days is either “Marlians don’t go to school,” “Marlians zero belt, no Mannaz”

Despite criticisms, the Marlians fame keeps increasing on social media.

However, the headliner of Marlians, Naira Marley on Tuesday took to his Twitter page appealing to his fans not to destroy their future.

On his Twitter page, Marley wrote: “Marlians going through withdrawal syndrome right now, they need new music

“As a Marlian you have to enjoy your youth but don’t destroy your future.”

The president of his controversial fan base, “Marlians” seems to be showing an inspirational side these days.
