Ahmed Musa, Nigeria’s Super Eagles captain, has reiterated that he has not tested positive for coronavirus.

The player, who plays as a forward and left winger for the Saudi Arabian team, Al-Nassr, said none of his family members also test positive for COVID-19. Musa made this known on Wednesday night via Twitter.

He said he and his family recently came into the country from Saudi Arabia and they have been on a 14-day self-isolation.

He appealed to Nigerians to co-operate with the Federal Government and all approved agencies in the fight against the pandemic while urging the public to disregard any news insinuating that he or any of his family members are carriers of the lethal virus.
