Muhammad Gishiwa, Yobe College of Education Provost, is dead

The Provost, Umar Suleiman College of Education, Ghasu’a, (USCOEGA), in Yobe State, Dr. Muhammad Gishiwa is dead, Top Naija can confirm.

According to a family source, the deceased passed away in Kano on Sunday after a brief illness.

“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him the best of His mercies; and admit him into Aljannatil Firdaus; and comfort the hearts of all his family members and associates with outpourings of love surrounding them, Aamin”, the source prayed.

It was gathered that funeral procession is scheduled for Monday, the 18th of October, 2021 by 2:00pm at the late Gishiwa’s family house, behind Umar Suleiman Central Primary School, Lawan Musa Ward Gashu’a.

Late Dr. Muhammad Gishiwa, until his death was the Provost of the state owned College of Education in Gashu’a.

Established in 1986 and formerly known as Advanced Teacher’s College, Gashua, the Umar Suleiman College of Education is a state government higher education institution located in Gashua, Yobe State, Nigeria. It is affiliated to University of Maiduguri for its degree programmes.
