Mourinho Can’t Explain Tammy Abraham’s Problem
AS Roma boss, Jose Mourinho is one manager known for charisma in front of the press, along with the humor he brings to interview to create headlines. For now though, he is most concerned with his forward option, Tammy Abraham not scoring for a while.
It was one of the questions brought to Portuguese during a recent press conference where in, he theorizes the forward may have quite a lot on his thoughts to result in a lack of focus or confidence in games.
Tammy Abraham, who plays as the striker for AS Roma, has seen himself now out of form for Roma, may be preoccupied with the 2022 World Cup, according to manager Jose Mourinho.
Abraham had a great 2021–2022 season, scoring 27 goals in 53 games. This time around, the forward has only made 18 appearances.
Abraham may have other things on his mind, according to Mourinho, as he waits to hear if he will be called up to Gareth Southgate’s England team for the next World Cup.
“You should ask him what’s the problem. If he is distracted, if he has a problem or if he thinks about the World Cup,” Mourinho told reporters.
