Man found lifeless inside Osun uncompleted building
The lifeless body of a resident of Oluawo compound in Osogbo, Osun State, Jimoh Kolawole, has been discovered in an uncompleted building near his house, TopNaija reports.
Sources privy to the incident told journalists on Sunday that the deceased might have been strangulated and dumped in the area by some hoodlums.
A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said people were afraid to comment on the tragedy because perpetrators of the crime had not been found.
A spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
She said one Adetunji Kolawole, a brother of the deceased identified him, adding that the police did not suspect any foul play.
“The corpse was released to the family following a presentation of affidavit and letter of request addressed to the police,” Opalola added.
