In a shocking and tragic incident in Cheberen, Mogotio, Baringo county, K enya, the lifeless body of a man identified as Kirwa Kipngetich was discovered hanging on a mango tree.
This gruesome discovery came shortly after he had allegedly stabbed his wife to death.
The distressing incident was brought to light by a concerned neighbor who stumbled upon the lifeless body while visiting his farm in the area.
The neighbor immediately alerted the authorities, and the local chief of Cheberen, Sammy Kandie, arrived at the scene.
According to Chief Kandie, it was revealed that the man had committed the heinous act the previous night.
After perpetrating the crime, he attempted to flee from the enraged crowd that had discovered his actions.
The suspect managed to escape and sought refuge in a nearby bush, where he remained in hiding.
The victim of this brutal attack has been identified as Leolinda Jeruto, a Junior Secondary School (JSS) teacher at Tian Primary School in Cheberen, Mogotio.
Her life was tragically cut short by the hands of her own husband, who allegedly used a knife in the attack.
