‘Living abroad doesn’t make you rich’ Actress Yetunde Bakare mocks diaspora Nigerians
Nigerian actress Yetunde Bakare has slammed some Nigerians living in the diaspora, instructing them to be humble.
In her recent Instagram post, the actress mocked a class of Nigerians in the diaspora who think they are automatically rich simply because they do not stay in Nigeria, including those living with their partners and those doing fraud.
According to Yetunde Bakare, some people always believe that everyone in Nigeria is broke and frustrated. However, some people are wealthy but would rather stay in Nigeria. She added that travelling or living Abroad does not make a person rich.
She wrote: Isn’t it funny how some Nigerians in diaspora thinks they’ve automatically made it just because they don’t stay in Nigeria even the ones living off their partners or doing fraud.
They believe everybody in Nigeria is Broke and frustrated but truth is some people are extremely rich and would rather stay in Nigeria. Traveling/Living abroad doesn’t make you WEALTHY or RICH at HEART so be HUMBLE.
Yetunde Bakare, in a recent social media post, revealed why she does not ask guys for money to buy wigs, shoes, bags and other material things.
According to Yetunde, she is not a baby, hence the reason why she does not ask for materials things. Instead, she asks for money to help her business grow and for investments.
In her words: “I’m not that girl that will ask you money for ‘ wigs, bags, shoes, phones’ etc those are for babies and I’m not vain… I’m the one that will tell you about my ‘Unfinished projects’ Shipping new cargos’ Expanding businesses’ New investments ‘
And if I say ‘ hey bae can I get 5M for a business I’ll be expecting at least 2M trust me if you’ve got me once I’ve got you a million times
