Liverpool vs. Chelsea: "The media is bias to Us" -- Pochettino

It’s as if no one even cares about Chelsea, Pochettino laments as the Blues travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the trip to Anfield to face Liverpool, has hit out at the media’s bias for the West-London side.

Calling out the press and the media, the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur boss challenged that Chelsea, compared to Liverpool faced far more tougher task getting into the Carabao Cup final but hardly gets talked about.

“We beat teams like Brighton & Newcastle & we arrived in the final because we deserved it. But no one said anything.” Pochettino said.

However, in Liverpool’s case, the Reds getting to Wembley got more coverage in contrast to the Blues.

“Then Liverpool arrived in the final & it’s a massive celebration. But for Chelsea, it’s like OK, it’s not a big thing’. That is really unfair.”

Chelsea will be hoping to make a statement tonight on their visit to the famous Anfield turf if they manage to beat the home team and come out with the maximum points in what stands a crucial game for Liverpool.

The Reds have never needed all 3 points more than they do in this fixture when this season’s form comes into context. They travel this coming weekend to North London to face Arsenal at the Emirates, which makes a win against the Blues all the more important for the home side.
