Former Arsenal player and football pundit, Ian Wright, has confidently predicted that Arsenal will extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table by defeating Liverpool in their upcoming clash on Sunday.

Wright has urged Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, to take the game to Liverpool and “attack” them at Anfield.

Currently, Arsenal sits atop the Premier League table with an eight-point lead over second-placed Manchester City.

The Gunners will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in the league and further strengthen their title challenge against Liverpool.

Liverpool, on the other hand, has struggled to find their form this season, currently occupying the eighth position in the table.

The Reds recently played out a goalless draw with Chelsea on Tuesday, and the pressure will be on the team to deliver a strong performance against Arsenal.

Speaking on The Wrighty House podcast, Wright said, “I think Arsenal can do it, I’m confident Arsenal can do it. It’s so exciting. I can already feel the buzz around that game. With what’s going on at Liverpool, it’s the time to attack them and get them to answer some questions.”

The highly anticipated match between Arsenal and Liverpool is set to take place on Sunday, with both teams aiming for a crucial victory.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that Wright’s prediction comes true and that the team can continue their impressive form and push closer to their first league title since 2004.
