Liverpool officially unveil new Manager, Arne Slot

The open secret has officially been confirmed as Liverpool Football Club have announced their new boss, Arne Slot ahead of the new season.

The announcement follows the exit of Jurgen Klopp after the culmination of the 2023/24 campaign that ended for Liverpool on Sunday with a 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Announcing the former Feyenoord boss as the new head coach on their website, the club states that Arne Slot will take over the reins of the club starting from June 1.

However, that is subject to a work permit as confirmed by Liverpool.

Arne Slot will be taking over the Reds on the back of 3-highly successful seasons with Feyenoord, which saw the Dutch side emerge as Erediviie winners in the 2022/23 season.

The Netherlands-born coach prior to his move to Liverpool was named Eredivisie Manager of the Year on multiple occasions, and this season, led Feyenoord to victory in the KNVB Cup in April, defeating NEC Nijmegen 1-0 in the final.

Former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp during his farewell on Sunday, unofficially made the announcement to the Liverpool fans when he canvassed support for the upcoming manager that comes in to take over his position at the club.
