Liverpool dealt massive blow in title charge

Ever since the start of the 2024/25 campaign, the Liverpool fan base have been coy about the possibility of the Reds challenging for the premier league title this season.

However, a new report has blown that narrative into bits as a key member of the team, has been confirmed to be out of action for some crucial Liverpool’s fixtures.

Liverpool goalie Alisson Becker according to new reports, is set to be out for around 6 weeks following the hamstring injury he suffered in the Reds’ recent fixture versus Crystal Palace.

This means the Brazilian will miss key games against Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League once the international break comes to a close next week. Alisson Becker is also set to miss out the Champions League fixtures versus RB Leipzig and by a stretch, the game against Manchester City.

According to the report, the Liverpool medical staff do not expect the former AS Roma player to be back until the next international break in mid-November. Hence, the Reds will have to rely on second-choice goalkeeper, Caomhin Kelleher to stand in-between the sticks to ensure Liverpool keep winning games.
