Cholera outbreak in Lagos State: 15 Dead, 350 suspected cases reported

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, announced a severe cholera outbreak on Saturday, which has resulted in 15 deaths over the past few days.

Managing Director of Fouani Company and 3 Lebanese abducted in Lagos

Unknown gunmen have abducted the Managing Director of Fouani Company along with three Lebanese nationals while they were traveling by boat in Lagos State on Friday, June 14.

According to a report by Punch, the victims were taken around Falomo Bridge as they commuted from Apapa to Victoria Island. While the identities of the victims have not been officially confirmed, it has been disclosed that the abductors have demanded a ransom for their release. Read more here.
