Lady Narrates What Happened After N20 Million Was Mistakenly Transferred to Her Bank Account

A businesswoman has detailed what she did when her account was accidentally credited with N20 million by the corporation.

She had no business with the corporation, and she was surprised to get the N20 million notice.

She stated that she was taken aback when the large cash arrived in her account and went to the bank to get a bank statement.

When she described what had occurred, she said that the bank refused to provide her the name of the firm that made the transfer, instead asking her to fill out a form so that the bank could reverse the transfer.

She claimed that she didn’t trust the bank to do the right thing, so she flew from Ilorin to Lagos to meet with the corporation.

Despite various obstacles, she was able to get access to the company’s office building and was presented to the accountant.

She said that when she told the accountant what had happened, he was taken aback since he had no clue a mistake had occurred.

The N20 million was eventually returned to the corporation, and she was compensated with N500,000.
