Notorious kidnap suspect, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, has distanced himself from lawsuits filed in his name against the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

This is in light of two suits bordering on human rights violation and illegal detention he reportedly brought against the force.

But Evans, in an interview with Channels Television today, July 2, 2017, has isolated himself from the legal actions reports claimed he had initiated.

He stated that he had no hand in the suits filed and that they were attempts by some unknown people to get him into more problems.

The suspect said, “I have no hand in any case filed against the police and I did not speak with any lawyer or my father to fill a case on my behalf.

“All I will say is that they should temper justice with mercy.”

He added in the Channels News report that he would turn down an attempt to walk away from police custody as that will pose grave danger to his life.

According to him, victims of his kidnapping business are most likely going to seek revenge on him if he is released.
