Kebbi Mishap: Four children dead, dad alive

Musa Labaran, lost his four children to a boat accident on Wednesday 24, despite efforts to save one.

According to TopNaija.ng reports, Musa made efforts to save the fifth child since he was the closest to him but it is still unclear whether the boy is alive or dead as the body is yet to be found.

Security operatives and residents explained that the family was on their way to their farm which is on the other side of the river when they suddenly lost control of the boat in Yauri area due to whirl wind.

Statistically, no fewer than 350 lives were lost to boat mishaps in Nigeria in 2020, this was the disclosure made in Borgu, Niger State, by Joseph Ityav, who is the Chairman, Governing Council of the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPADEC).
