Ighalo, Ndidi, Osihmen nominated for CAF African Player of the Year Award 2019

Nigerian footballers, Wilfred Ndidi, Odion Ighalo and Victor Osihmen made the nomination list for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) African Player of the Year Award 2019.

The three Nigerian stars who play for Leicester City, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua and Lille respectively, were shortlisted alongside 27 other African footballers including the previous winner, Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Liverpool for the award.

For the CAF Youth Player of the Year 2019 nominees, Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze and striker Victor Osimhen also made the shortlist.
