I Know where Ronaldo is headed next—Portuguese expert

If there is a lot of news trending now or questions being asked, it’s where is Ronaldo headed next?

It has become a sort of conundrum as almost every club linked with the Portuguese has either rejected the idea of signing him or refused giving a statement.

It all came up after the 5 time golden ball winner tabled a transfer request to current club, Manchester United with speculations stating he wants to end his career playing in the Champions League without it being tainted by Europa League football.

It has led to a lot of rumors and speculations from the media and football experts but for a certain Portuguese football expert, Pedro Sepulveda, he has revealed he knows where Ronaldo is headed next.

According to Sepulveda, he sees the Portugal captain as ending up in no other club but Chelsea or Atletico Madrid.

Ever since the transfer request, the 37-year-old has not attended Man United’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia due to family issues.

And his agent, Jorge Mendes, has been reported to be speaking with several European top clubs in a bid to sign his client this summer.

For Pedro Sepulveda, only Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are the two big clubs that are ‘one step closer’ to signing Ronaldo this summer.

“I can’t see Ronaldo from Man Utd next season. The two main teams one step closer than the others are Chelsea and Atletico Madrid,” Sepulveda told Sky Sports on Thursday.

“I can see him playing for those two teams – Chelsea have a new owner, a new project, with money to spend on transfers.”
