"I don't want to see Osimhen at Arsenal" -- Thierry Henry

Former Arsenal striker, Thierry Henry has warned Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen against moving to North London.

‘I’d like to see him do what he can do but Not at Arsenal’, the Frenchman notes after the Champions League round of 16 tie between Napoli and Barcelona.

The Nigerian forward garnered attention last season with an impressive performance, scoring 26 goals and providing five assists in 32 league appearances, aiding Napoli in clinching the Scudetto. His remarkable form earned him accolades, including the title of the league’s best striker and the CAF Player of the Year award. Additionally, he secured the eighth position in the 2023 Ballon d’Or rankings.

Despite the reported interest from several clubs, including Arsenal, Henry, speaking after Osimhen’s goal against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg clash, cautioned against a move to the North London club.

“I’d like to see him now, what he can do in the Premier League or wherever he’s going or Paris Saint-Germain. Not Arsenal, I won’t go there,” Henry stressed on CBS Sports.

It is unlike why the Arsenal Legend is hesitant on Victor Osimhen making the move down to North London, but seeing the Gunners stacked in the forward line with Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard as striking options, Henry’s reluctance to seeing the Nigerian at the Emirates could be more of a favor to Osimhen than a warning.
