“I don’t want Liverpool to win the Premier League” — EPL star

Liverpool may have a lot of fans but for West Ham United forward, Michail Antonio, it’s all hate between him and the Merseyside club.

The forward is still reeling over a statement he made earlier in the season that came back to bite him when West Ham faced Liverpool at Anfield in what ended as a 3-1 win for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Prior to the game, Antonio had insisted the Reds will have a bad campaign in the 2023/24 season, pitting West Ham to finish above the Merseyside team even. However, flash forward to approximately 4-months later, the Reds sit top of the league while the Hammers sit 6th.

Michail Antonio still holding grudges with Liverpool, has stated on air that he would rather any other team wins the premier league than Liverpool win it.

Antonio candidly expressed his sentiments during a recent appearance on BBC’s The Player Channel podcast, shedding light on the ongoing banter he receives from Liverpool fans.

Addressing the issue, Antonio stated,

“I don’t want Liverpool to win the league. Because you Liverpool fans are still in my inbox. Get lost! I am saying it with my chest. I don’t want Liverpool to win the league! Come for me! Arsenal get it. Man City, get it. That’s all I have to say about that!”
