“I am not a fan of Davido” — Kate Henshaw picks fault of Pop star

Renowned Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw recently revealed her lack of fondness for Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, widely known as Davido.

During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwu, the movie star candidly expressed her disinterest in Davido, stating that she neither admires nor likes him.

When prompted about the reason behind her sentiments, Kate Henshaw pointed to an encounter with Davido where he reportedly failed to extend greetings, leaving her with a sense of disrespect.

However, she clarified that her lack of admiration for Davido does not stem from personal issues, acknowledging his philanthropic endeavors, notably his charitable contributions by directing funds received on his birthday towards orphanages.

Furthermore, the esteemed actress commended Davido for his involvement in the movie “Coming to America,” appreciating his performance in the role.

Kate Henshaw said of the musician;

“Well, I’m not his fan. I like his music, but personally I don’t know him. I’ve met him, he didn’t greet. I’m sorry. No, I’m not sorry. I’m old enough. He didn’t greet I believe he should be respectful

“For me, personality matters and it draws people closer to you. Yes, he has done a lot of good.

“I saw that time when people were giving him a birthday gift and he now donated it. That is so huge. He is unapologetically Nigerian and he has flown the flag without fear or favor.”
