After his items were stolen on location in Calabar, Nigerian artiste, Mayorkun is ready to cancel Cross River capital, Calabar from his tour list in the future.
The singer via a social media post has declared his decision to refrain from performing in the state capital of Cross River state, following a distressing incident where his belongings were reportedly stolen during his time in the state for a concert.
Invited to grace a concert in Calabar, the artist fell victim to assailants who allegedly stole his possessions on the premises last night.
Expressing his disappointment, Mayorkun posted a photo from the concert on social media with a caption that read,
“CALABAR, You’ll probably NEVER EVER see me again, good luck to the other artistes coming for your festivals tho’.”
The singer further described his encounter as a harrowing experience, expressing the severity of his sentiments regarding the theft incident.
Fellow musician Iyanya responded to Mayorkun’s tweet, urging anyone in possession of the stolen item to kindly return it to the singer.
