How speeding vehicle knocked man dead, flees scene in Delta State

A hit and run vehicle has knocked a yet-to-be-identified man dead at the Airport junction in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, TopNaija can report.

The deceased was crossing the road when the vehicle on high speed crushed him to death and fled the scene immediately.

His remains have been evacuated to the morgue by the Police in the area.

When contacted for comments, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya promised to get back to our correspondent with the identity of the deceased.
