House of Rep Calls CBN To Order

The House of Representatives have disagreed to  the new policy brought by the Central Bank of Nigeria about setting limits to cash withdrawals at the Deposit Money Banks and other financial institutions.

The House of representative at the same time called the Governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele, to come and explain the policy to the parliament.

According to further reports, he is to appear before the lawmakers on Thursday.

This is in line with the motion of urgent public importance moved by a member of the House, Aliyu Magaji, at the plenary on Thursday.
