His people are against him, I will not support Peter Obi – Daddy Freeze slams Labour Party presidential candidate

Media personality, Daddy Freeze has opened up on the reason he will not give his support to Peter Obi in the 2023 elections.

The pioneer of free the Sheeple movement, Daddy Freeze took to his Facebook page via video to share his opinion while reacting to the protest against the ban of Father Ejike Adoration Ministries.

He said: “I cannot support Peter Obi for president when his family members (tribesmen) do not support him.”

He insisted that there are some people in eastern Nigeria who are against the presidential hopeful, Peter Obi’s ambition.

Daddy Freeze also noted that the former governor might succeed in his quest for obtaining power in 2023 if he draws over Nigerian youths to his side.

This is, however, coming after Peter Obi reacted to photos of him sharing money during the 2017 Anambra governorship election.

In the photos that went viral, the former Governor was seen campaigning for the then governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Oseloka Obaze.

Some APC and PDP supporters took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to slam Obi for allegedly engaging in vote-buying during the election. They described the former Anambra governor as a “hypocrite and a liar.”

Reacting to the photos, Obi stated that he is a philanthropist and he always shares money to old women in his village when he returns from Akwa, the state capital.

He denied social media reports that he engaged in vote-buying during the Anambra governorship election, adding that he has never induced voters to vote for any candidate
