EXPOSED: Bobrisky arrested over N30m fraud! See details

On Thursday, TopNaija News hinted and reported about the arrest of cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

After detailed findings, TopNaija can authoritatively confirm that Bobrisky was arrested by police detectives from Abuja, over an alleged N30m fraud, at the Lekki area of Lagos State.

TopNaija learnt that a yet-to-be-identified businesswoman petitioned the police and alleged that Bobrisky fraudulently collected the sum of N30m from her.  The Nigerian internet personality who is known as a transgender woman in Nigeria was later granted an administrative bail.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, who confirmed the arrest, stated that the matter was under investigation.

He said, “He (Bobrisky) was arrested, but he has been granted bail; he is no longer in our custody but he is still under investigation. He was arrested on the allegation by a businesswoman that he fraudulently collected N30m from her.

“We had to grant him bail because of the lockdown and we are also mindful of the people we take into custody, but the case is still under investigation.”
