Erling Haaland fears 2 Chelsea Players—Pep Guardiola
A lot of Chelsea fans wouldn’t want to imagine the outcome between Chelsea and Erling Haaland this Thursday night but for Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, Haaland on his part has 2 Chelsea players to worry about.
The game against Chelsea will be a very important game for Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola and also for star striker, Erling Haaland to prove a point in catapulting City further closer to top-placed Arsenal.
For the Blues, gaining all 3 points will be crucial in re-establishing Chelsea’s aim of achieving a top 4 place finish this season despite the underwhelming season for the West-London side.
Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, is looking forward to the physical matchup with Chelsea’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Thiago Silva as well as Erling Haaland, the Chelsea center-back.
Guardiola has stated he won’t tell Erling Haaland to cool down on the field before Thursday’s game.
The Norwegian striker and Ben Godfrey of Everton got into a fight last week.
In the first period of the 1-1 tie, Haaland was ultimately penalized for a strong challenge on Vitalii Mykolenko.
“Strikers have to handle tough, tough central defenders. It’s necessary. [Against Chelsea] he will have a battle with [Kalidou] Koulibaly and Thiago Silva.
“Always it’s a big challenge and that’s why the Premier League is so special,” Guardiola told reporters.
