Dominik Szoboslai gets his day versus Aston Villa
Liverpool fans waited long for the screamer, and now have been treated to one as their summer signing, Dominik Szoboslai finds his way through to the back of the net to get the Reds up and running against Aston Villa.
The stunner came via a team move that came off a corner into the edge of the box, which the Hungarian was pleased to finish off.
The former RB Leipzig man since his arrival on Merseyside, has played a key role in leading the Reds into consecutive victories since the stalemate against Chelsea on opening weekend of the Premier League.
The 22-year-old has shown his versatility in playing in wide areas and also in deeper roles for Liverpool, with two of those occasions coming in the games versus AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle United where the Reds had to play with a man down following the sending off of Alexis Mac Alister and Virgil van Dijk.
Dominik Szoboslai opens his Reds sheet with a strike to open the scoring against their Birmingham opponents, and the fandom had quite a lot to say as they relive the days of a certain Liverpool hero; Steven Gerrard, whom Szoboslai shares the same shirt number with on Merseyside.

We knew Mac Allister & Szoboszlai were upgrades on our previous lads, but I really didn’t expect it to be by this much.

Dominik Szoboszlai. Just outrageous. The kind of midfielder we've all wanted for years. There isn't an iteration of Klopp's Liverpool that wouldn't have benefited from him, which is saying something. 1 loss of possession aside, he's been incredible both offensively & defensively
