Delta: Hotelier and one other assassinated

Unknown gunmen have assassinated the owner of Widisag Hotel located in Udu council area of Delta state, Elvis Otedafe Onojerame alongside a friend on Sunday night, December 13.

According to reports, the suspected assassins shot the deceased hotelier at close range inside his Mercedes Benz car before killing his friend.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said the police have launched an investigation into the matter.

“it is true. There was an assassination. Yes, two people.”

Meanwhile, his friends have taken to social media to express their sadness over his sudden demise.
