Deep rumors emerge on Ten Hag’s Manchester United future
Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has been a man under fire since the season started and with the campaign still lingering on as the upcoming FA Cup final closes on, speculations continue to swirl around the Dutchman.
It is now being reported that Manchester United officials have reportedly met with representatives of Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna.
According to Sky Sports News, the meeting involved Manchester United’s new chief executive Omar Berrada and technical director Jason Wilcox, and the possibility of McKenna taking over the first team was discussed.
McKenna, who has impressed with his work at Ipswich Town, is also attracting interest from Chelsea, United’s Premier League rivals. Despite this, Manchester United have yet to make a final decision on whether to part ways with current manager Erik ten Hag.
McKenna is on United’s four-man shortlist, which also includes free agents Mauricio Pochettino and former Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel.
The future of Erik ten Hag remains uncertain, particularly with the upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester City. Should United lose and miss out on European football next season following their eighth-place finish in the Premier League, changes at the managerial level could be imminent.
