Chuba Akpom Wins Third Player Of The Month

Nigerian striker Chuba Akpom has won his third Player of the Month award for the 2022/23 season while playing for Middlesbrough.

Akpom was named the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month for February after scoring five goals in five Championship outings.

He was also named Player of the Month for November and January earlier this season.

Akpom has scored an impressive 24 goals across all competitions this season, with 23 coming in 30 Championship appearances and one goal in one FA Cup outing.

Despite missing out on being called up for the Eagles squad to face Guinea in the ongoing 2023 AFCON qualifiers, Akpom’s stunning form has caught the attention of Leeds and Everton, who are reportedly interested in signing him in the summer transfer window.
