No Love Lost between Chelsea Players and Lukaku as they Pick replacement

Lukaku has never hidden his dissatisfaction at Chelsea and his love for Inter Milan, as the player revealed if he was to choose between London club and Inter, he would choose Inter twice over.

It of course have left in the players some sort of sour taste as they have moved to quickly urge the club’s hierarchy to fast track the signing of his replacement.

The name the players touted to its hierarchy is Everton forward, Richarlison who has hinted to the Toffees his interest in seeking a new challenge.

Arsenal are reported to also have interests in signing the Brazilian, but the Chelsea players are said to want the Blues to move ahead of the Gunners.

Tuchel’s London blues have not signed any player this summer even though they have allowed the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to depart.

Top striker, Romelu Lukaku is on the verge of returning to Inter on loan.

Richarlison, meanwhile, is keen on leaving Goodison Park this summer and has attracted interest from a number of clubs in the Premier League.

Everton are reported to be demanding nothing less than £50 million for the player, while both Tottenham and Arsenal have made approaches in recent weeks.

UK newspaper ‘The Sun’ now reports that senior members of Chelsea’s squad want the Everton star at Stamford Bridge as Lukaku’s replacement.

The report claims Chelsea’s players view Richarlison’s ‘aggression and tenacity’ as traits of a player they would like to see added to their squad.

That doesn’t include to the fact the Everton player was key to Chelsea’s defeat the previous season as the Merseyside club looked to avoid relegation.

The Brazilian scored 10 Premier League goals in last season as his stats speak for him.

The Chelsea Lukaku romance hasn’t worked out well for both sides so far.
