Cardi B wins big at 2019 BET Awards | See full list

Talented US rapper and songwriter, Cardi B has topped the winners at this year’s BET awards, receiving two awards: best female hip-hop artist, and album of the year for Invasion of Privacy.

Other artistes who also received the prestigious awards are Beyonce with the ‘best female R&B/Pop artiste’, Nipsey Hussle with a posthumous ‘best hip hop artiste’ award, Burna Boy as the ‘best international act’ and Bruno Mars, who emerged the ‘best male R&B/pop artiste’.

The BET Awards, established in 2001, celebrates African-Americans and other American minorities across music; sports; acting; and 17 other fields of entertainment.
