Cardi B joins Vin Diesel for Fast and Furious 9

Cardi B will join the cast of Fast & Furious 9 for the ninth installment of the series.

Vin Diesel made this revelation by sharing a video of Cardi B with him on set. In the video, he revealed they both just wrapped a day of shooting on the set. They both looked tired and fought to stay awake.

“Day 86 here on the set of Fast 9. We all gave every single thing we could for this movie,” Vin Diesel said.

Cardi added:

“I’m tired, but I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one. I need to take a nappy-nap. I’m ready to take my nappy-nap.”

Fast 9 will feature the return of Diesel as Dominic Toretto, and Dame Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and Ludacris will all reprise their roles. The movie, directed by Justin Lin, is in theaters May 22, 2020. It marks Cardi B’s first big film role since she appeared as a stripper named Diamond in Hustlers, starring Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu and Lizzo.
