Bukayo Saka wins Premier League March awards

Nigerian born international, Bukayo Saka has tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday 25.

 

Following the reports by TopNaija.ng, the Arsenal striker has been dropped ahead of the international friendlies.

 

Saka had been in isolation since Wednesday, and is now back in his leafy Hertfordshire home in England.

 

The FA’s statement on the issue reads, “Bukayo Saka has left the England camp having tested positive for COVID-19.

 

“The Arsenal player had been isolating from the rest of the squad at St. George’s Park since Wednesday and has now returned home.

 

“No further replacements are planned with a squad of 24 in place for the forthcoming fixtures against Switzerland on Saturday and Côte d’Ivoire on Tuesday at Wembley.”

 

As the stats show, Saka equals Ronaldo scoring 12 goals each in their first 79 Premier League games while the Arsenal winger has more assists (13) in the ongoing season.
