Buhari replaces Aisha’s aides with two new appointments

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of two more aides for the First Lady, Aisha.

TopNaija had earlier reported that Buhari had temporarily redeployed three aides of the first lady, Aisha, to the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), TopNaija reports.

Buhari approved the appointment of Aisha Rimi as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Legal Matters.

A statement by Garba Shehu, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, said Rimi is a founding partner at the Africa Law Practice.

Also appointed to work with the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, who has less than seventeen months in office, is Dr. Zabah Muhammad Jawa.

Dr. Jawa, according to the statement, will work as a Personal Physician to Aisha Buhari.

Jawa is a Fellow of the College of Radiologists of Nigeria and a Fellow of the South African College of Nuclear Physicians.
