Benzema sets personal best record of entire career
The French striker, Karim Benzema, got himself a 34th goal of the 2021/2022 season today, April 2, against Celta Vigo.
The 34-year-old extended his lead on the La Liga goal chart for this season scoring a brace in the match bringing him to 23 goals in the Spanish top-flight this term and 34 in all competitions.
His previous best for Madrid was in the 2011-12, when he netted 32 in the entire season.
