Benjamin Netanyahu promises vengeance after Israel attack

“They mean to kill us all, an enemy that murders children, women in their homes,” — Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu on Hamas attack.

The horns of war was blown on Israel on Saturday, 7th of October when the Palestine militant group known as Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel, attacking communities near the Gaza Strip.

In the midst of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stern vow to eliminate Hamas terrorists and protect the citizens of Israel from their threats.

Netanyahu’s declaration came in response to what he described as a relentless desire by Hamas terrorists to harm all Israelis.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, the Prime Minister emphasized that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) would utilize its full strength to incapacitate Hamas and ensure that the tragic events that unfolded recently would not be repeated.

The Israeli Prime Minister expressed his deep concern about the recent escalation of violence, particularly the invasion of Israeli territory by Hamas on Shabbat and a holiday.

He condemned the killing of innocent civilians, including children and the elderly, and labeled the actions of Hamas as a “brutal and evil war.”

Netanyahu affirmed his commitment to victory in the ongoing conflict, even though it may come at a high cost.

He stated,

“We will be victorious in this war despite an unbearable price. This is a very difficult day for all of us.”

He further emphasized the gravity of the situation, asserting that Hamas aimed to harm all Israelis, indiscriminately targeting civilians, including children and mothers, in their homes and beds.

Netanyahu described the enemy as one that abducts the elderly, children, and young women while perpetrating acts of violence and terror against Israeli citizens who were merely trying to enjoy a holiday.

The Prime Minister assured the public that the entire government supported the decision to confront Hamas aggressively.

He conveyed that the IDF would immediately employ its full capabilities to dismantle Hamas’s infrastructure and take forceful action to avenge the tragic events that had occurred.

Netanyahu quoted a poignant line by Bialik, a renowned Hebrew poet, to underscore the depth of his resolve:

“‘Revenge for the blood of a little child has yet been devised by Satan.'”
